You’ve probably heard of social media. That’s because between Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, there are over 2 billion active users on those platforms. We certainly aren’t the first agency to offer the service. But what makes our social media marketing different, what sets us apart, is that we are experts in creative design. We make sure your branding and messaging are consistent throughout your various social media networks.
There’s a tendency to sell, sell, sell (push) with our business’ social media posts. This is specials, offers, products/services, and generally any post where the end goal is to make a sale. And that’s perfectly fine. You’re in business to make money. But that being said, there has to be a balance between selling and informing (pull strategy).
So what’s a pull strategy? And as a business, why should you care? The answer is, a pull strategy is posting tips, information, and other useful or interesting topics on social media. This is very important because it “pulls” in your audience and users of social media. For example, if you’re a resort in the Caribbean, yes, there will be posts about room rates, drinks, your resort, etc., but you might do some posts with travel advice, 5 Things You Didn’t Know About the Bahamas, or similar. The reason this is effective, is that it engages your audience. Not only will they engage (like/share/comment), but they will also visit your website which means nice referral traffic.
The days of growing your social following completely organically (without ads), have slowly disappeared. On some networks such as Instagram, it can be a bit easier to grow a following, but on Facebook specifically, it takes social media ads and campaigns to truly grow your audience. This can be accomplished with targeted Like Campaigns which serve two main goals: 1) Increase the number of targeted users that follow your business and 2) Increase the engagement on your page which means more likes, shares, and ultimately leads.
Anyone can setup a Hootsuite account, schedule posts for 30 days at a time, and sit back and watch what happens. Sort of hope for the best. Here at Figment we understand that when you spend your hard-earned money on marketing, you’re expecting ROI. That’s why we closely monitor your social media posts, and adjust and change our strategy as needed. If something isn’t working, there’s no point in continuing it. If something is working, we need to replicate it.
Our goal is always to deliver the best results possible. We want your business to succeed as your success is our success. That’s why we make sure to fully understand your business, your goals, and your brand prior to starting a campaign. Marketing is a collaborative process, and we take advantage of that.
